I love this stereo
Even though it sounded terrific when it was working, the former Sony quality is no longer there. I am VERY disappointed.*I have a large hammer to remove my CD's and then it will be trashed* Plus, I have 3 CD's stuck in the &*%# thing. Yes, I have tried all the steps to 'reset' and such, hours on the phone with Sony support, only to find out I have to ship the entire system to Laredo, TX to have it fixed under warranty. The second one had a defective woofer, would not turn on. My first GX99 was dead on arrival. Now, after 8 months, this one has crapped out.It will turn on and immediately go into standby mode with a flashing I/O button. This is the last of my Sony stereos.
Such sound from so small a source. My brother-in-law has this system and it is incredible and awesome. I am buying it for myself as a birthday gift to me.
The sound is very high quality. I like Sony products. I really love this stereo.
by the way i got this on sale at best buy for 160 bucks. i hooked this up to my sony vaio media pc and it sounds superb, blows away a regular computer speaker setup. great buy if you are looking for a good stereo system. Excellent stereo system. looks great, sounds great, bass hits very well. althoguh i would have paid the regular price for it.
